✨ Fall Is Here - And Daylight Is Getting Shorter
With fall officially here, the days are getting shorter, which means more of our daily commutes and evening drives will happen with less daylight. Reduced visibility can make it harder for drivers to spot pedestrians, cyclists, road signs, and potential hazards in time to react.
According to the Federal Highway Administration, the nighttime fatality rate on U.S. roadways is three times higher than during the day, and 76% of pedestrian fatalities occur at night. As we adjust to earlier sunsets, drivers should slow down, stay alert, keep headlights and windshields clean, and take extra care around crosswalks and areas with pedestrian activity. Even with extra precautions, accidents can still happen. If you’re involved in one, KAASS LAW is here to help you understand what to do next.

⭐ When a Pedestrian Accident Changes Everything
In recognition of California’s Pedestrian Safety Month, this month’s video testimonial shares a deeply personal story from the daughter of one of our clients. She reflects on the difficult time her family faced after her mother was struck in a pedestrian accident and how overwhelming the process felt at the beginning.
She shares how KAASS LAW helped guide her family through the legal process, communicated clearly every step of the way, and stood by them during a time of uncertainty. Stories like this remind us that behind every case is a person and a family looking for guidance, support, and peace of mind.
